  • 1976:
    ITAS was established on 26 March.
  • Late 70’s:
    ITAS becomes well known as a manufacturer of combustion plants for textiles, ceramics and printing.
  • 1978:
    ITAS supplies a thermal oxidiser which is still in operation conforming to current European standards.
  • Early eighties:
    ITAS Petrochemical Division supplies plants for major Italian and International companies.
  • 1983:
    ITAS Ecology Division builds a high performance recuperative oxidation system.
  • 1989:
    ITAS builds and installs the highest guyed flare in Europe (150m high / 52” dia.).
  • 1991:
    ITAS automation supplies turnkey plants complete with DCS, Distributed Control System.
  • 1994:
    ITAS obtains ISO 9001 accreditation.
  • 1996:
    ITAS builds and installs one of the biggest flares in the world, in Kuwait.
  • 1996:
    ITAS supplies the biggest totally enclosed Ground Flare to the Petrochemical Plant in Brindisi.
  • 1996:
    On the company’s twentieth anniversary a new Testing Area is opened.
  • 1999:
    ITAS German Branch opens in Frankfurt.
  • 2000:
    ITAS Automation initiates remote control via modem for plant management.
