THERMAL OXIDIZERS DESIGN
Thermal oxidizers are systems designed to dispose chemical wastes through a controlled oxidation process that generates end products, which can be emitted into the environment without any harmful effect.
Actually, this result may be obtained in two ways: first of all by an accurate design that takes into account the nature of chemical wastes and the prescriptions of any local, national or international rules regarding waste disposal; secondly through a careful monitoring of installed plant operation to ensure that the emissions generated always remain within acceptable limits.
These tasks are very hard, as the rules are complex and many times difficult to understand, and in any case it must be guaranteed that the gaseous, liquid or solid emissions do not cause any damage to the environment. Many times, it is not possible to obtain the desired results from the sole oxidizer. Then a further treatment of the emission released by the oxidized becomes necessary, before sending the same into the environment. This is particularly true in the case of acid gas plants.
ITAS Ecology Division has a wide experience and competence in the design of complete oxidation systems, including downstream treatments, and is open to the maximum cooperation with customers to define completely systems, which can assure safe operation and low cost exploitation.
